“When our earthly dwelling
here on earth is destroyed,
We gain an everlasting dwelling
place in heaven.” (2 Corinthians 5:1)
The Church’s Funeral Rites are celebrations of belief in the Life, Death and Resurrection of the Lord and the celebration of a belief in a promise given at Baptism that if we live and die with the Lord, we shall be raised up with him.
St. Michael’s Parish is committed to offering prayerful and pastoral services to our church families at the time of the death of a loved one.
Traditional Catholic Funeral Services include prayers at a Funeral Home, Mass in Church and prayers at the cemetery.
At the time of the death of a loved one, please encourage your Funeral Director to make arrangements with the Church, for a proper Christian Burial, especially if your loved one has lived out his or her faith in the Catholic Church.
